French names for baby girls, with 914 entries. French names are classic favorites. Today they are still very popular as baby girl names, but not as much as they were in the past. Their usage peaked in 1901 with 18.156% of baby girls being given French names. Within the top 1000 baby names then, there were 78 French names.
