J- names for baby girls, with 2572 entries. J- names are classic favorites. Today they are still very popular as baby girl names, but not as much as they were in the past. Their usage peaked in 1941 with 12.196% of baby girls being given J- names. Within the top 1000 baby names then, there were 80 J- names. The names have slipped in popularity since then, but nevertheless are currently of very heavy use. In 2016, their total usage was 3.008% with 65 J- names listed among the top 1000.
