Alastair Sim was a Scottish character actor who rose to fame as a West End artist. A late bloomer in acting, he was most known on the London stage for his Shakespeare classics. He performed in 10 Shakespearean plays including ‘Othello’ (1930), ‘As You Like It’ (1932-1933), and ‘Hamlet’ (1932) among others.
Widely regarded for his incredible performances in 46 West End productions and 61 films, interestingly, he never signed any autograph.
