Cleo Demetriou is a Cyprus-born actress who emerged as the child prodigy behind the lead character named Matilda Wormwood in the musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s ‘Matilda the Musical’ (2011-2012).

She rose to prominence portraying the role of the naive Gretl von Trapp in the musical ‘The Sound of Music’ (2008). Afterward, she was cast as the Young Cosette in the famed West End musical ‘Les Mis√©rables’ in 2011. She also played the lead role Lily Hampton in the BAFTA-winning CBBC sitcom series ‘So Awkward’ (2015 -).
