Dove Cameron rose to fame when she was cast on the American Disney Channel’s teen sitcom ‘Liv and Maddie’ (2013-2017) and in the NBC live television presentation of ‘Hairspray Live!’ (2016). The former earned her first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in Children’s Programming. In 2015, she portrayed Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, in the musical fantasy-adventure television film, ‘Descendants’ (2015).
