James Franco became a global smash in Sam Raimi’s ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy. In 2010, he starred alongside Julia Roberts in ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ and worked with Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens in ‘Spring Breakers’ (2012). He has starred in two biographical films; first is Danny Boyle’s ‘127 Hours’ (2010) in which he portrayed Aron Ralston, the canyoner who was left trapped by a boulder and the other one is ‘The Disaster Artist’ (2017), which he produced and directed. He received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for the latter.
In high school, he was referred to by the nickname Ted.
Trademarked with his one-sided smile, he was viewed as a sex symbol and labeled as the ‘Sexiest Man Living’ in 2009 by Salon.com
