John Lennon gained international fame for becoming one of the lead vocalists and songwriters of the iconic English rock band, The Beatles. Soon after, he went on a solo career and produced the songs ‘Imagine’ (1971), ‘Give Peace a Chance’ (1969), and ‘Instant Karma!’ (1970), among others. He was well-regarded by the music industry, which got him inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
