Milly Shapiro shared the spotlight as the recipient of the Tony Honors for Excellence in Theatre Award alongside the three other actresses who portrayed the titular character of ‘Matilda the Musical’ (2013-2014). They were regarded as the youngest recipients of the award in history. Additionally, Shapiro portrayed the 13-year-old Charlie Graham in the supernatural horror film ‘Hereditary’ (2018). She garnered further critical acclaim when she received eight nominations for the role, notably from the Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society Awards, IGN Summer Movie Awards Seattle Film Critics Awards, Washington DC Area Film Critics Association Awards, and more.
She also composes one-half of the performing duo called the ’Shapiro Sisters’ together with her singer-actress sister, Abigail.
