Ricky Martin started out with the pop group called Menudo and continued with a solo career in the early ’90s. This period saw the release of his highly popular songs and albums such as ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca’ (1999) and ‘Ricky Martin’ (1991), selling 75 million copies at the time and contributing to the rise of Latin pop. Martin starred in the TV series ‘The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story’ as Antonio D’Amico in 2018. As well, he is most recognized as among the fan-favorite judges and coaches of several musical reality and talent competitions such as ‘Amici di Maria De Filippi’ (2019), ‘Lip Sync Battle’ (2017), ‘The Voice Australia’ (2013-2015), ‘The Voice Arabia’ (2014), and more.
He used to be an altar boy as a child. Later on, he published a children’s book titled ‘Santiago the Dreamer in Land Among the Stars’ (2013).
