The English actor and producer who portrayed the redheaded Ron Weasley and Harry's best friend in the 'Harry Potter' films (2001-2011). In addition, he took part in the making of the movie 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' (2001).

Rupert Grint is one of the three central figures of the ‘Harry Potter’ film series together with Daniel Radcliffe (as Harry Potter) and Emma Watson (as Hermione Granger). For 10 years, he starred as the Potter’s brave but gawky best pal, Ron Weasley, in all of its eight films. In 2012, when the series ended, he appeared in the anti-war movie, ‘Into the White’. In 2017, he held the starring role and was the executive producer of the crime comedy web TV series, ‘Snatch’ (2017-2918), which Guy Ritchie directed.
In real life, Grint battles with severe arachnophobia or the fear of spiders and other arachnids. In one of his fight scenes with the humongous spider named Aragog in ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets'(2002), his extreme fright towards the insect wasn’t only acting but real phobia kicking in.
