Seth Macfarlane landed himself in the public eye as an actor, producer, director, voice actor, singer, animator, and more. He is most known as the critically recognized creator of the animated series ‘Family Guy’ (1999-), ‘The Orville’ (2017-), and ‘American Dad!’ (2005-). He found further fame as the voice behind the ‘Family Guy’’s main characters Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Sterimewie Griffin, and Glenn Quagmire. In 2013, he left ‘American Dad’ but was acknowledged for giving ‘the series its own distinct voice and identity.’ He has won five times and received 23 nominations for Primetime Emmy Awards for the show as of mid-2020.
The New England-born talented actor became interested in drawing Fred Flintstone and Woody Woodpecker as young as two years old. Years after, he had already known that he wanted to become an animator. It sparked his interest, even more, when his parents gifted him with a Super 8mm film camera after graduating high school. The Rhode Island School of Design’s Fine Arts graduate was recruited by Hanna Barbera even prior to finishing his senior year. He worked as a writer and storyboard artist, where his main focuses were ‘Johnny Bravo’ (1997-2004), ‘I am Weasel’ (1997-2000), ‘Cow and Chicken’ (1997-1999), and ‘Dexter’s Laboratory’ (1996-2003).
