Seth Rogen earned his Primetime Emmy nomination as a staff writer of the British satirical series ‘Da Ali G. Show’ way before he even tried acting. In 2005, he co-produced and held a supporting role in ‘The 40-Year-Old Virgin’. Following this success, it opened the doors for him as a screenwriter, producer, and actor, most notably in ‘Knocked Up’ (2007), ‘This is the End’ (2013), and ‘Superbad’ (2007).

A Vancouver native, the Vancouver Aquarium named an octopus (cephalopod) after him. It is known as Ceph Rogen.

Upon knowing that you could earn a living from writing comedy at such a young age, he always knew that he wanted to pursue it. At 13, he and his childhood friend Evan Goldberg have already written the teen comedy film ‘Superbad’ (2007).
