Stevie Nicks became a popular figure in the rock scene for being the vocalist and songwriter of the British-American group called Fleetwood Mac. Together with the band, they released their chart-topping albums such as ‘Say You Will’ (2003) and ‘Time’ (1995). Nicks was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for her contributions to the rock music genre.

As an infant, Stevie could only pronounce her name as ‘tee-dee’. This led to her nickname Stevie which she uses professionally.

She has her own charity project, which is called the Stevie Nicks Soldier’s Angel Foundation. It is dedicated to using music in helping wounded soldiers rehabilitate.
