Thomas Haden Church didn’t start acting until the age of 28. He is notably recognized primarily in ‘Spider-Man 3’ (2007) as the lead villain, Sandman/Flint Marko, ‘Sideways’ (2004) as Jack, and ‘Tombstone’ (1993) as Billy Clanton.
Born Thomas Richard McMillen, he acquired his stepfather’s surname, Quesada, when his mother married George Quesada. When nobody could pronounce Quesada, he adopted Haden Church which are from his ancestry.
He was gifted by ‘Spider-Man 3’ film director Sam Raimi the comic book issue of ‘Amazing Spiderman #4’ with the first appearance of his portrayed character.
