Tim Curry is an English actor famous for his versatility on stage, screen, and television. Best recognized for his menacing villain roles, he was a hit in his Los Angeles stage performance as Dr. Frank-N-Further on ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ (1974). He cast in several musicals including the original productions of West End’s ‘Hair’ (1968) and ‘The Pirates of Penzance’ (1982). His performance on Broadway’s ‘Amadeus’ (1980), which earned him his first out of three Tony Award nominations.
He once shared, ‘I’m not a conventional leading man at all and have no wish to be.’
