Will Smith is one of the most recognized faces both in the music and film industries. Famous for his charm and quick wit, he was an instant knockout in his first sitcom as a broke young man who was sent to live in a mansion with his wealthy relatives in ’The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ (1990-1996). After a while, he gained international acclaim playing in movies such as the ’Men in Black’ film series, ’I am Legend’ (2007), ’The Pursuit of Happyness’ (2006), and ’Aladdin’ (2019).
In high school, he was given the nickname ’Prince Charming’, which he adopted as his stage name ’The Fresh Prince’ when he became a rapper.
When he was starting out as a rapper, he underpaid his income taxes which left him a $2.8 million tax debt—leaving him almost bankrupt. After his success in acting, he became one of the most affluent multi-millionaires under the age of 20. He is also famous for incorporating ‘Aw, hell no!’ into all his movies.
