Roman names for baby boys, with 200 entries. Roman names are all-time favorites. Currently they are still very popular baby names for boys, though they were in more widespread use previously. At the height of their usage in 1906, 18.133% of baby boys were given Roman names. There were 58 Roman names ranked within the top 1000 baby names then. Roman names have since experienced a decline in frequency, but in recent years they are nonetheless of very heavy use. In 2017, 53 Roman names listed among the top 1000, with a combined usage of 7.445%. Within all Roman names, the Czech, English, French, German, and Yiddish Michael was the most commonly used, with a ranking of #12 and a usage of 0.6407%.
