Universal names are popular baby names for boys. At the height of their usage in 1969, 3.488% of baby boys were given Universal names. There were 22 Universal names ranked within the top 1000 baby names then. Universal names have since experienced a decline in frequency, but in recent years they are nonetheless of heavy use. In 2018, 17 Universal names listed among the top 1000, with a combined usage of 1.739%. Within all Universal names, the English Jackson was the most commonly used, with a ranking of #17 and a usage of 0.5352%.
